Traceable / Sustainable / Seasonal / Wild
Host a holiday dinner party for the ages... or give a special gift that will keep on giving into the New Year. Our Holiday Feast contains about 9 lbs. of delectable fish and shellfish perfect for a dinner party of 8-10. Each Feast features about 2 lbs. each of luscious king salmon and halibut; approximately 3 lbs. of delicate spot shrimp (otherwise known as prawns which are more akin to lobster in taste than your average shrimp), and about 2 lbs. of Dungeness crab.
These premium and sustainably caught seafood delicacies are paired with artisan sea salt harvested in nearby Sitka Sound from Alaska Pure Sea Salt Co., a small-batch Citrus Mint spice blend from our friends at Lemaster Family Kitchen, and a custom salmon pin-bone removing tweezer and guide. We’re also including new recipes utilizing our specially-curated seasonings (tart cherry halibut bruschetta, creamy sage linguine with spot shrimp, or Dungeness crab topped king salmon anyone?), which make this holiday feast just as easy as it is delicious.
This unique holiday offering is carefully packed with eco-friendly insulation and dry ice to keep it frozen until it reaches your doorstep.
Free shipping anywhere in the lower 48. Holiday boxes will be delivered between December 18th and 20th.
Deadline to order is Sunday, December 15th.
P.S: No seafood substitutions allowed (sorry)! This Feast is planned to perfection.

About 90% of fish that Americans consume is industrially-produced by large factory ships and multinational fish farms. These production methods deliver cheap and consistent product for global commodity markets, all the while exploiting labor, degrading ecosystems, and destroying traditional fishing communities.
At Sitka Salmon Shares, we think there’s a better way to harvest and consume seafood. That better way begins with the small scale family fishermen who harvest fish in traditional fishing communities and ends with a community of conscious consumers who believe in supporting the efforts of this type of fleet.
We believe in the myriad benefits of our system, which include healthier oceans, stronger fishing communities, fairer working conditions for traditional small boat family fishermen, and, of course, tastier fish for you and your family.
What is more difficult for us to promise is exact poundage and precise species mixes in our Community Supported Fishery. For us to promise these would endanger many of the benefits at the core of our system. Even with the best management and science, sometimes wild fish don’t show up as planned, especially as climate change continues to transform our oceans. Pushing our fishermen to harvest fish that just aren’t there, or, worse, buying from an untrusted supplier in order to fill an order just doesn’t sit right with us. We hope you agree.
What we can promise you is this:
You will receive between 4.5 and 5 pounds of fish a month, depending on fishing and fishing conditions. Family Shares will receive a multiple of 2. Neighborhood Shares will receive a multiple of 3.
Your fish will be caught with love and care by small-boat family fishermen, many of whom are owners of the company, and all of whom take great pride in harvesting you the best fish.
You will be completely satisfied with anything and everything you receive from us. If you aren’t, just let us know and we’ll refund your purchase price or replace your fish with something you’d be happier with that we catch.
That’s our We’re Really Fishing Promise.
