Halibut & Lingcod Sampler
It’s time to “get your flake on!” Flaky, delicately flavored halibut and meaty lingcod make up this magnificent sampler of Alaska white fish. Both these fish can hold their own in dishes that range from a comforting beer-battered fish fry to an elegant 5-star style meal. Each ~4.5-lb box includes individual portions of both wild Alaska halibut and lingcod, sustainably harvested, and blast-frozen to ensure premium quality and fresh-from-the-ocean flavor.
Sablefish (Black Cod) Box
Sablefish has a mild buttery-sweet flavor and a medium-firm texture with large flakes. It’s also rather rich, with a higher fat content than other white fish which makes it particularly luscious. Sablefish is absolutely delicious when pan-fried with crispy skin and served with bright, acidic sauces like chimichurri, citrusy pan sauces, vinaigrettes, capers, and lemon.
With firm yet tender flakes and a delicate flavor, the mighty Pacific halibut is a fish of culinary renown. The meaty texture and mild flavor make halibut perfect for baking, sautéing, or grilling. Make memorable meals for the whole family with this box of hook-and-line-caught wild Alaska halibut
With a mild flavor, medium flake, and a medium-firm texture, lingcod are versatile and work amazingly well in many recipes. Try lingcod sautéed and served with pan sauces, poached in flavorful sauce or olive oil, or simmered and stewed for chowders, soups, curries, and seafood stews.
Pacific Cod Box
Pacific cod is a lean white fish with a mild flavor, delicate texture, and medium-sized flakes. We love it sautéed and served with pan sauces, beer battered (or panko breaded) and fried for fish and chips, fish sandwiches, or Baja-style tacos. Pacific cod is versatile and can be swapped in for other proteins to make easy sheet-pan dinners your entire family will enjoy!
Bairdi Crab Box
Southeast Alaska bairdi (snow) crab caught in pots by our trusted partners at Alaska Glacier Seafoods in Juneau, Alaska. Bairdi is a prized crab harvested during Alaska’s cold winter months. We love the sweet, pronounced crab flavor of bairdi when steamed and paired with herby dipping sauces, stirred into chowders, soups, curries, or seafood stews.
Dungeness Crab Box
We are excited to offer remaining fall and winter season boxes of these Pacific Northwest jewels, which were caught in a small crab pot fishery in Southeast Alaska’s inside waters. Dungy meat is light and flaky with a subtle sweetness and brininess. Our Dungeness crab comes pre-steamed and “half-backed,” which means we’ve removed the midsection and left only the meaty clusters of legs and claws.
King Salmon Box
King salmon is known for being rich in flavor and texture, which makes it very forgiving when cooking. (It also makes them exceptionally delicious!) King salmon can be prepared many ways, including with just olive oil, salt, and pepper. One of our favorite methods is to slow grill it with low heat.
Albacore Tuna Box
Rich, delicate, and ever-so-subtly sweet, albacore tuna pairs perfectly with bright flavors. It shines in rare preparations or with a quick sear to preserve the meat's flavor and texture. Think poke with an umami soy-based sauce, seared with chimichurri, or wrapped in a homemade sushi roll.
White Fish Sampler
Sweet and delicate-flavored halibut, supple lingcod, and versatile rockfish make up this magnificent medley of Alaska white fish. Each of these species can hold their own in dishes that range from a comforting beer-battered fish fry to an elegant 5-star style meal.
Keta Salmon Box
Wild Alaska keta salmon are a favorite of our fishermen. A brilliant silver when pulled off the hook, keta’s luster is contrasted by a mild flavor that will even have the seafood-adverse hooked. Know someone who claims they don’t like salmon? Feed ‘em keta and you’ll have yourself a convert.
