Kaisha Young grew up in Sitka and is the daughter of two Sitka Salmon Shares fishermen-owners, Dawn and Mark Young. She learned to fish at a young age, and for the last five years she has been a crew member on her parent’s boat, the F/V Bella Dawn. She is now in nursing school and doesn’t get to spend as much time on the boats with her parents, but still enjoys fishing in her free time and takes pride in eating and cooking with the fish she catches herself. This super simple recipe for breaded and baked halibut pieces packs in a ton of flavor and is easy to prepare. It’s a perfect meal for kids and adults of all ages!
